Situated on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the famous Indus River, the city of Srinagar is a heavenly abode on earth with numerous lakes and large expanses of green valleys spread throughout. The Jhelum River runs through the city and the valley, emptying in the Wular Lake. The city at 876 km north of Delhi is famous for its nine ancient bridges, linking the two parts of the city.

Katra or Katara means Caravanserai or Karwan Sarai in Arabic and Persian. Two magnificent Katras were built during the Mughal rule in Dhaka, Bangladesh. One is called the Bara Katra meaning the great Katra, while the other is called Choto Katra meaning the small Katra.

DAY 01: JAMMU

On arrival at Jammu Railway Statation proceed to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: JAMMU-SRINAGAR (300 KMS).

Our representative will transfer you to the Jammu Bus Stand and 7/8 Hrs. drive will take you to Srinagar. At Srinagar you will meet our representative and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat. Over night at Houseboat.

Day 03: SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (50 KMS)

Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh( The Gardens of pleasure) build by Asif Jha in 1636 and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) build by Jehangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan in 1619. Over night at house boat.

DAY 04: SRINAGAR-GULMARG-SRINAGAR (112 KMS)

Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful Summer Resort in the Valley. Enjoy the splendor of nature and Showy Mountain. One can have Gondonla Ride (Cable Car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. In the evening return to Srinagar, Over night at Houseboat.

DAY 05: SRINAGAR-SOMARG-SRINAGAR (196 KMS)

Full day excursion trip to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonmang (2690 Mts.) known as the gateway to Ladkh. One can ride on horse to Thajiwas Glacier where you can have soow sledge rides round the year. Over night at Houseboat.

DAY 06: SRINAGAR-PAHALGAM-SRINAGAR (186 KMS)

Full day excursion to Pahalgam (2440 Mts). On the way visit Saffron field, Avantipura Ruins and Anantnag Sulphul Spring. Enjoy the naure and the Roaring River. Evening return back to srinagar. Over night at Houseboat.

DAY 07: SRINAGAR-KATRA (VAISHNO DEVI) 268 KMS

Leave early in the morning 6/7 Hrs. drive to Katra and check at a Hotel. After refresh leave for Vaishno Devi Temple for Darshan. Return to the hotel during the midnight and over night at Hotel

DAY 08: KATRA-JAMMU (50 KMS)

Morning free for personal activities. Drive to Jammu Railway Station for onwards journey.
